The James Joyce Tower is located on the coast in Sandycove, South County Dublin in between Dun Laoghaire to the North and Dalkey to the South.  See map below.

Getting Here:

DART:

Take the DART as far as Sandycove and Glasthule station.  Exit the station and turn right.

Walk as far as the traffic lights.  Turn left.  You will be able to see the sea in front of you.  Walk as far as the sea front.  You will be able to see the tower over to the right.  Follow the coast, up a hill and the centre will be on your right.

Aircoach:

Take the Aircoach as far as St. Joseph’s Church Glasthule. On stepping off the bus turn to your right.

Walk as far as the traffic lights.  Turn left.  You will be able to see the sea in front of you.  Walk as far as the sea front.  You will be able to see the tower over to the right.  Follow the coast, up a hill and the centre will be on your right.

Dublin Bus:

Take the number 59 Dublin Bus as far as St. Joseph’s Church Glasthule (bus stop 3066). On stepping off the bus turn to your right.

Walk as far as the traffic lights.  Turn left.  You will be able to see the sea in front of you.  Walk as far as the sea front.  You will be able to see the tower over to the right.  Follow the coast, up a hill and the centre will be on your right.
